让步状语从句的定义：让步状语从句属于状语从句中的一种。一般翻译为“尽管……”、“纵然……”或“即便……”、“不管……”等，就是我们日常生活中用的“退一步说…”的感觉。使用让步状语从句能够通过阐述某个既定事实或客观推测，陈述方在经过周密考虑且想到了既定目标之后（会体现在主从句中），以退为进，让听者感受到对方难以争辨且无力反驳，最终只得就范、屈服或尴尬沉默。
让步状语从句典型标志性连词：though，although，even if，even though； whether…or…； no matter+疑问词，疑问词+ever，regardless of+名词/名词短语/名词从句，despite，in spite of。请参考美剧《绝望的主妇》相关例句：
