昏迷了5个月后，琼妮塔-索利斯在半夜醒来，决心告诉儿子加布丽尔偷情的真相，寻求帮助时她滑倒从楼梯上摔下，垂死之际她把秘密告诉夜班护士，但是护士戴着耳机没有听见，加布丽尔的秘密随琼妮塔一起死去了。
葬礼上加布丽尔得知卡洛斯为母亲买下昂贵的墓地火冒三丈，她要求他接受交易请求，这样他必须入狱8个月，但他们的房子能得以保存。卡洛斯同意了她的要求，但要她发誓在此期间保持忠贞。医院告诉加布丽尔琼妮塔因为照顾不周才跌倒致死，他们愿出钱了断此事，她与律师商量过后决定不告诉卡洛斯。

However, Gabrielle also finds out that the hospital was negligent of mother-in-law’s death and in return, they offer her a seven-figure settlement.
Lynette befriends a deaf woman named Alisa Stevens (Marlee Matlin) whose daughter attends Barcliff Academy with the twins, but is infuriated by her husband who takes advantage of her disability to insult her behind her back.
